Konawaena (8-0), which has won 56 consecutive league games, will play East Hawaii No. 2 seed Waiakea (7-3) at 7:30 p.m. Friday in the second of two BIIF semifinal games at Kealakehe.

In the other semifinal, East Hawaii No. 1 seed Hilo (10-0) will play West Hawaii No. 2 seed Kealakehe (0-8) at 6 p.m.

Chanelle Molina scored 16 to lead the Wildcats. Mercedes Victor had 12. Melissa Simon and Courtney Kaupu each scored 10.

Keahau Lee led Kealakehe with three point.

Honokaa 50, Hawaii Prep 20: Senior Keana Kaohimaunu scored 15 points in Waimea and the Dragons clinched a postseason bye.

Junior Shemika Frazier added 11 points for Honokaa (6-2), which will face either Pahoa or Kohala at 4:30 p.m. Friday in the BIIF Division II semifinals at Kealakehe High School.

Junior Tiana Reynolds led Ka Makani (4-4) with seven points. HPA, West Hawaii’s No. 2 seed, will host East Hawaii No. 3 seed Ka‘u at 7 p.m. Wednesday in a first-round game. The winner will face East Hawaii top seed Kamehameha (7-3) at 3 p.m. Friday at Kealakehe.

Waiakea 58, Pahoa 30: Junior Shaila Apele scored 12 points, and sophomore Nicole Antonio added 11 as the visiting Warriors coasted to their fourth straight victory to finish the regular season at 7-3.

Ranchell Berinobis and Erleen Oguma each scored seven points for the Daggers (2-8), who will host Kohala (2-6) on Wednesday in the first round of the Division II playoffs.

In JV, Mikaela Martinez led Waiakea to a 53-32 victory with 13 points.

Hilo 64, Kamehameha 46: Junior Aliyah Pana scored 14 points, and freshman Alexis Pana added 11 at Koaia Gym as the Vikings (10-0) wrapped up an undefeated regular season.

Junior Casey Poe scored a game-high 23 points for the Warriors (7-3). Bidding for a sixth straight BIIF Division II championship, East No. 1 seed Kamehameha will face either Hawaii Prep or Ka‘u at 3 p.m. Friday in the semifinals.

Kohala 86, Laupahoehoe 44: Sophomores Mikala Jordan and Hana Caravalho powered the Cowboys (5-3) to a victory on the road with 26 points and 25, respectively.

Freshman Kysen Datuin led the Seasiders (0-8) with 14 points and senior Justin Jose had nine.

In the girls JV game, Kohala beat Laupahoehoe 34-29 behind 17 points by Briana Harrison.
